Live within your means- Patrick Chidolue

Patrick Chidolue Blasts Corruption: People must learn to live within their effortThe Federal Government on Thursday 16 February 2017 at the Nigerian Air force conference center Kushi, Kado, inaugurated a “Value Project” programme to institutionalise anti-corruption campaign. It was a gathering of stakeholders by the Value Project in conjunction with the Federal Ministry of Education to brainstorm on ways to inculcate the right values into the cognitive system of the Nigerian nation and the Nigerian people. And what better way to achieve this national yearning than by targeting the young ones who are in their early educational path and searching for those right values that will guide to fulfilment in their chosen field of endeavour. Some of the stakeholders who spoke on the project inauguration include the chairman of the event, Sen. Victor Ndoma Egba, SAN Chairman of Niger Delta Development Commision, the Minister of state for Education, Prof. Anthony Onwuka, a former Presidential aspirant Mrs. Sarah Jibrin amongst others

In an interview with Chief Patrick Chidolue, Chairman Chelsea Group, who was a guest at the event, he stressed the need for people to learn to live within their effort and shun all shades of corruption as living outside ones effort is a gateway to corruption. He emphasised on the need for children to grow up learning from their parents that values such as honesty and hardwork pays and that there can never be an alternative to a life of integrity, maintaining that the character of a child is a product of parental influence, environment and learning.

The highlight of the event was a drama presented to the guests by the children on the ills of corruption and the need to support anti-corruption war in order to create a sustainable future for the next generation.

The initiative was also in collaboration with Youth, Health and Social Reforms (YOHESOR), a Non-Governmental Organisation headed by its national co-ordinator Dr. Ijeomah Arodiogbu.
